In person events are really picking up again and the Pig and Poultry Fair (10 & 11 May 2022 at Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire) will be the first chance for the British industry to get together in four years, so is hotly anticipated. We’re delighted that three AB Agri business units will be among those taking part.

ABN Feeds, the leading British manufacturer of pig and poultry compound feed, is the event partner and will be on hand to explain its products and complementary solutions for the monogastric livestock industries.

On the pig side, Dr Steven Jagger, ABN Senior Pig Nutritionist and Dr Tegan Whiting, ABN Pig Nutritionist will also be leading a session on ‘Optimal nutrition for economic and environmental sustainability’ at 12pm in the Pig Forum Theatre on both days of the event. They will discuss how using cost-effective nutrient levels at each stage of growth can improve feed efficiency, financial returns, and reduce the carbon footprint of your business.

On the poultry side, Danny Johnson, ABN General Manager, will be chairing the Poultry Meat Outlook forums at 12pm on both days and his colleagues Brian Kenyon, Senior Nutrition Manager and Claire Shaw, ABN Formulation Manager will present and chair a session on ‘Precision feeding the modern broiler in the new carbon world’ in the Poultry Forum Theatre at 1pm (also on both days).

In addition, Patrick Garland from Premier Nutrition is part of the panel in the British Free Range Egg Producers Association (BFREPA) forum at 11am on both days. He will be on the panel discussing nutritional/formulation information and fielding questions from the audience.

Primary Diets – an AB Neo company – will share information on its research and development initiatives which focus on early nutrition to boost gut development, ensuring strong healthy pigs at weaning and excellent performance in the nursery.
