AB Agri has acquired IFCN AG, a dairy research and consulting company.
IFCN has supported the dairy industry globally for over 20 years with comprehensive dairy data, knowledge and events. Its mission is to help people in the dairy world to make better decisions.
IFCN is built on three pillars, a network of researcher partners in over 100 countries, partnerships with over 130 dairy companies and organisations, all held together by a highly talented team of 20 dairy experts located in Kiel, Germany.
IFCN will continue to operate on a standalone basis offering independent services. Most importantly this step will not affect the way IFCN works with its research and company partners. The key values in IFCN – Trust, Independence and Truth will remain.
Commenting on the announcement, AB Agri CEO José Nobre said: “IFCN’s vision aligns with our ambition of putting our customers at the heart of everything we do. As a long-standing partner of IFCN, we are very pleased to welcome the team into the AB Agri network, bringing knowledge and technology together to create value for customers, as we continue to support the dairy industry with our services and products.”
IFCN Founder, Torsten Hemme said: “We are delighted to be part of the family of AB Agri companies, this will be a catalyst for IFCN to continue to develop, resulting in even stronger support for the dairy industry going forward - enabling us to better serve the needs of dairy consumers and dairy farmers as well as helping to create a more sustainable future for all of us.”
