  • AB Agri Gender Pay Gap Report 2024

Creating a workplace where all our people can grow and succeed is at the heart of what we do in AB Agri, and our gender pay gap is an important measure of how we are doing. We are happy to share our latest Gender Pay Gap report, which shows our UK gender pay gap has remained below 2% for the fourth consecutive year, at 0.4%.

In 2017, we launched our ‘This is Me!’ initiative, focused on creating an environment where individuals feel empowered to be themselves. This marked a key step in our ongoing commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion. Through the efforts of our Employee Network Groups and inclusive talent management practices, such as blind CV screening, 4-way career conversations, and strategic partnerships like the Solaris Women’s Executive Leadership Programme and sponsorship, we continue to support and develop our people.

As a result, we’ve seen a significant and consistent reduction in our gender pay gap, from 16.8% when we began reporting. While we are only legally required to report in Great Britain, our commitment to gender equity is global. Thank you to all our colleagues across our businesses making a sustained, positive difference.

We are committed to workforce diversity through attracting, developing, and retaining diverse talent, which is why we are focused on fair and inclusive recruitment practices. Currently, 40% of our UK workforce is female, with women receiving 41% of all promotions this year. Additionally, all recruitment agencies working with AB Agri must adhere to our Group Supplier Code of Conduct, reinforcing our commitment to Equality, Diversity, Inclusion, and Dignity at Work.

Gender is of course only one important area of focus, and I am pleased to share we are voluntarily reporting and disclosing our GB ethnicity pay gap. We're committed to creating a workplace that's fair and inclusive for everyone. We know closing the gender pay gap takes consistent effort, and we're dedicated to keeping the momentum going and making real progress.
