Simon Heath, AB Agri’s Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), has joined the 2022 Feedinfo Leaders Network (FLN). The group consists of senior leaders from the biggest and most innovative feed additive and premix companies, along with feed producers and integrators, who are looking to support change in the animal nutrition and feed industry.
The FLN brings together C-suite stakeholders from around the world to act as an advisory board for several Feedinfo industry-wide projects this year by supporting their development and implementation. Its first meeting takes place on 9 February.
They will be discussing the biggest challenges for livestock producers, opportunities to ease the pressure on farmers and producers, how the industry can support small- and large-scale farmers, as well as actions for Feedinfo, and other media outlets, to support this work.
Simon said: “Our participation in the Leaders network reflects AB Agri’s status in the industry and I am proud to be representing all our expert colleagues from across the group in such a way. We will only achieve large-scale changes in the industry by working together on the key issues. I welcome the fact that Feedinfo has taken on the role of facilitating these discussions and driving action based on our input.”
Through the FLN, Feedinfo hopes to understand opinions on how the industry is moving forward and how it can best support the wider industry.
As part of the FLN, Simon will advise on potential content and speakers for the Feedinfo Summit, the global gathering of industry leaders from the animal nutrition and feed industries who are committed to protecting and enhancing the future of their value chain. Feedinfo wants to ensure it reflects the true needs of leaders in the industry and addresses the most crucial issues faced by the value chain.
