We’re pleased to announce the appointment of Jonny Lester as Managing Director, Asterra UK, effective from 1 September 2026. 

Jonny brings extensive leadership experience across the agricultural and animal nutrition sectors, with a strong track record in Managing Director and General Manager roles. His expertise spans commercial, operations and technical disciplines, underpinned by a deep understanding of customer needs and sustainable business growth. Prior to joining AB Agri as ABN General Manager in September 2025, Jonny held senior leadership positions within the sector at both Managing Director and Commercial Director levels. His experience includes consultancy services for farmers, processors and retailers, as well as driving innovation in dairy and beef genetics. Having grown up on a dairy farm, Jonny also brings a personal understanding of the industry alongside his professional expertise.
