This innovation has been instrumental in driving value and profit for both food manufacturers and farmers alike.

Through its investment in co-product development, The KW Trident division adds value to manufacturers by reducing unnecessary processing costs and creating highly marketable feeds.  The business also provides a valuable service to manufacturers through its production consultancy, production planning support and logistics management.

The division operates two distinct routes to market Trident – its wholesale business and KW – its direct farm business.

Trident are market leaders in the marketing and wholesale supply of feed materials to the livestock industry with key products such as sugar beet feed, distillers feeds, molasses, brewers grains.  Additionally, we offer our customers a range of selected feed ingredients (such as yeasts and organic complexed trace minerals) and technical services.

Golden Flake and Butterfat Extra, are fed to dairy cows to help increase milk yield (Golden Flake) or to help increase the butterfat content of the milk (Butterfat Extra). The predicted growth of the biofuels industry will lead to the production of large volumes of distillers co-products. These are valuable feeds for dairy cows but may reduce the fat content of the milk, meaning that products like Butterfat Extra will be valuable in helping offset this.
